Volleyball registration has closed and teams have been formed. Practices start this week and coaches should have notified their teams of practice days and times. If you have not been contacted...please contact the Volleyball Director ASAP so that she can get you the information you need. You can email the director by using the link on the AJAA website under the Volleyball tab. Practices are held at Capitol Sports Center in Plainfield...their address is 1915 Gladden Road.

Game schedules are being developed and will be distributed to coaches once complete.

Interviews for Recreation Baseball Director begin next week (Responsibilities include all star and Select teams) Requirements - honesty, integrity, baseball knowledge, ability to steward a progam, put kids and league above personal ajaa interests, ability to work with people, anD POSSESS organization skills. The Avon Junior Athletic Association is a volunteer organization with hundreds of children participating in recreational youth sports. The emphasis of AJAA is on teaching the skills involved in each sport and having fun!

AJAA runs leagues for the following recreational sports:
Spring	Baseball / T-Ball Girls Softball (Slow / Fast pitch) Junior Runners
Fall	Cheerleading Football Flag / Tackle Volleyball
Winter	Basketball (Boys / Girls)
